Ingredients:

3/4 cup of fresh blueberries (or any berry juice)

1/2 lemon (squeeze the juice out or you can include the peel for tartness)

1 whole ripe banana

1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

200 grams of fresh Acai Berries (1 bottle of 8 ounce Organic Acai Berry Juice or Acai Berry packets sold at health food store will do)

yogurt (optional)

Procedure:

Simply add all the ingredients above in a blender and blend until the content is smooth. You can add yogurt if you prefer a thicker consistency, but you can also do without it. Make sure to use a high-grade blender as it will give you the best consistency. If you do not have one, an ordinary blender will do.

If you plan to drink this while breastfeeding, you can toss some blanched moringa leaves for added nutrients. Moringa is known to help increase the production of breast milk among new mothers. You can find moringa leaves in your local market and grocery stores.
